Can I use AirPlay with Redbox Instant by Verizon and my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?

Beginning with version 1.4 of our app, AirPlay works with limited functionality and we're working to expand access.

To use AirPlay with our Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps, your device needs to have needs to have version 6.1 or higher of the iOS operating system. Also, you can use AirPlay with titles from our streaming library but not with downloaded titles.

When using AirPlay, playback may be interrupted under these circumstances:
  • If you receive a text message, push notification, reminder, or call.
  • If your device is locked.
  • If you exit the Redbox Instant by Verizon app and start using other apps.
